The war in Iraq officially ended on Thursday. The flag that had flown over the headquarters of the U.S. mission was lowered for the last time and folded away. Thank you to all who served. :oldglory:

The battle is not over its just Obama full filling one of his election promises tha tmeans nothing to him. I fell sorry for men and women that were wounded, lost a limb, or a life!

    Its just an election move.

The US goberment will still be heavily involved in Iraq, just not the military.

But lets not get to political or it will get :locked:

People are getting sent home from a place where they shouldn't have been in the first place. So it may look like an election move, but they're still coming home and that's something to celebrate.

Better than sending people to war as an election move...

Going into Iraq was no less politically motivated , as stated above , the only good news is that the troops are coming home .

Yes, let's party when they actually get back & if it was over then why do we need that garish ass overpriced overstaffed embassy bigger than any others in the world full of cia, special ops and diplomats. Over, whata joke. It isn't over until taxpayer money no longer is being flushed down the drain over there. Agrred, it is just political move to try and look good for 2012 by you know who trying to act like someone he isn't...............
