That was kinda the point I was making without coming right out and making it. Free shipping @ $900....but you are asking $825 on CL....so that would come to $75 shipping not FREE. I'm not trying to bash your price, but maybe remove the FREE shipping remarks or clarify to people that they can PU for $825 or pay shipping.

 

Sorry, but if they can't figure that out I'm not sure dealing with them is smart business. I let my dog read the post just now and he got it right off. Of course he is super smart for a dog.

If I have to ship them I want to charge at least 900 to cover shipping estimated to be $80.

If someone wants to pick them up they can have them for 825.

 

I'm just sayin' you might way to edit your original post to help sell better. I hate paying shipping if I don't have to, so if you would have at least told people from the start that they could pick them up in ATL for $825 maybe that would of help you sell them locally.

Either way me trying to help out everyone understand your misleading post is just bumping up your For Sale thread...so your welcome. I guess your dog does some doggy math to figure out from your first post that it is $825 since (if you really want to read it this way) $900 for ALL - $80 Ship actually equals $820...not $825.

Used items are worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for them. So, if someone Shell's over your asking price... They are priced appropriately.

If I don't like a price... I make an offer... If its not accepted... I look elsewhere. What's the big deal? ... Except for a friggin tent not too long ago that we bashed the OP over for awhile cause he wouldn't ship... Even if I sent him the prepaid, labeled box n tape, AND called UPS.... But that was principal, not pricing.

I think all they were trying to say, is for you to clarify your post so that it will be easier for you to make your sale.
As others have said when dealing with used parts, make an offer and if you can't agree, MOVE ON. It sounds as if one person really wants them and there is $25.00 that can seal the deal. If the seller doesn't want to lower the price by that amount, either pay it or lt it go. As a seller it may be the closest offer to your asking price that you will get and have to consider sitting on your wheels for some time I f the sell doesn't go through.
Answer: Split the difference and both of you can move on. My .02.

My thought was that a pickup would be highly unlikely.

Furthermore... Lots of posts about great deals out there... Haven't seen one valid viable source other than ebay.
