    $600 not too bad. My wife wants a complete makeover for our bedroom including hard wood floors. I put the budget between 4 and 5K.

    Very true. I remember when I was 22 and it was hard back then as well. There were months when I was cashing in change to make payments.

    When you start out working save for your retirement. No one else is going to help you except your wife, when you marry.

    I have been staring at this black box on my screen for the last 20 minutes. I have no idea what it is, where it came from or how to get rid of it. It shows up no matter what program/screen I am viewing. :mad:

    I did a full makeover of the kitchen back in 1990. Floor to ceiling with new appliances and an Atrium door. I did a lot of the work myself and helped out the contractors I needed. The cost was almost $16K.

    Since then I have had to replace the fridge and the tile floor is starting to show some age.

    I thought I was doing well saving for retirement until I married my wife. She helped us get on the fast track for retirement. Well worth it IMO.
