    Ok so has anyone ran the Rubicon or Fordyce with ther 2nd gen tacoma ? If so what mods did you have and what are you recomondations .

    I've been on the Rubicon in a Land Rover but never a Tacoma.

    In general, you'll want 33 or larger tires, lockers, body armor, good front and rear recovery points and spare parts.

    I have been on both trails But with my 4runner and that was built for such trails . Just curious if anyone has taken there 2nd gen on it . I guess anything is possable .

    I have seen some FJs on it some guys from Canada came down for the MCR but i have never seen a Tacoma other than AWSUMDC

    there are alot of good spots back east as well . I use to go to Tellico alot before they closed that down .

    i dont know who his group was..

    Freeze has a taco setup with the All Pro LT front suspension and a bunch of other goodies..it's a white taco, im sure you have seen a pic of it somewhere. he frequents TTORA more often then here

    I think a well modded 2nd Gen could get thru but it's a pretty gnarly trail. Especially after this last winter with how much snow we had and when it melted it eroded a lot more of the trail. I've been wheelin that trail with my dad for awhile. have a 91 pickup access cab that was stock. We'd go up there, break something, come back rebuild it better, go up again and break something else ect. Hers our creation pretty much based off the rubicon over the years. Gets us thru with no problems at all.
