Then you'll def. want extended lines (actually, its only 1 extended you need for 1st gens, 2nd gens require 2)

The pro comp AAL is pretty stout, we put one on a second gen., the AAL was for a pre Tacoma '95.5 (toyota truck,sr5, whatever you want to call it) anyway it brought his old springs back to life more than the TSB for the 2nd gens.

& yeah it can be a "varies from truck to truck " thing now that ya mention it, I don't have an extended brakeline on mine, I was able to release my hardline from the retension clip & un coil about 2.5" of length , in addition the hardline basically "floats" with the axle, but not every 1st gen I've seen has this much extra, so I just recommend buying an extended line & take the guess work out of it.

 

i like it and it doesnt ride too bad. im just moving up to bigger and better things
