    I don't think Craig meant any harm with it, he was just stating that he got a great deal also. This cap is worth every penny of $950 and for someone to try and counter this offer would be a blow below the belt. FREE BUMP!

    I just received a price of $500 to "scuff and shoot". It is more than I expected! I am going to price another shop out here and I will get back to you. 950+ 500+ 60(Gas)= 1510. It is still a good deal but I don't know if I can swing.

    HT: It would look really nice with your grill for sure! Can't wait.

    I have to pass for now. I can't find anyone to paint it for less than 500. Thats over my budget. I have a few more places to check but it is looking dismal right now.
    I wish it were White, I would grab it. If anything changes I will be on it!

    OK thanks for info. Before I got this one, I was looking at a used blue one and I checked around and found that it was about $500 to paint, so your findings are in line with what I was quoted. I'm sure you can locate a good used white one if your patient, good luck

    Okay, thats an idea. Has anyone ever used maaco or similar for painting? I always thought the quality from those types of places was subpar? If the cap is in good condition, they would just scuff and shoot rather than stripping the entire cap to my best knowledge.
