The ultragauge is more eye pleasing but it's your opinion just do some research and compare both to your liking. There might be more out there

I havethe Ultra gauge and love it. Scangauge is a lot more money and I can't see that its worth it.

Is that cheaper than any group buy? Maybe I will just buy off of Amazon.

don't know about a group buy. i also liked the ultragauge, but for me it was a matter of size as to where i want to mount it.
i'm going to make a custom bracket so it fits snug and cozy under the factory temp/compass gauges.

I got a ultra gauge and it already paid for itself, the check engine light came on on my wifes 99 accord, I checked the code , it was a low oxygen on bank one, I cleared it and it never came back was 2 months ago, dealer wanted 90$ to check it, my cousin also got one and we were able to determine that the coil on cylinder4 was bad on his rav 4.

I bought the ELM327 blutooth adapter off Amazon $20.00, and downloaded the android android app Torque $5.00. It does everything the scanguage and ultragauge do, and it also has Mode $06 support.

SGII. Love mine. I keep mine on Coolant Temp, Ignition Timing, MPGs, and RPM.

The Air Intake Temperature read out is really useful too if you don't have an overhead temp, i think those were pre-2008. The air intake readout is more accurate after driving on the highway for a while.

If you can wait for the ultra-gauge, I would go that route. Otherwise get the scan gauge. I have both, and both are excellent, I just prefer the UG.

Yeah, they are expecting a new shipment by 27 Dec. I went with the UG, see how it is when I finally get it.

The Ultra Gauge is much more aesthetically pleasing. I have a scanguage myself, although I don't have it in the truck anymore, didn't really like the way it looked in there. I'm just holding on to it in the event I need to use it as a code reader.
