Front seat squeak noise help!!!

    Guys does anyone know how to fix this problem? My front driver seat its making a squeaky noise it sound like its comin from the back rest are this happen when I put pressure against it either with my hand or when ever I sit down. Does anybody know how to fix this issue its driving me nuts!! Btw my truck is a 2003.

    My only advice is "get used to it" and it'll go away.

    I don't even hear my seats squeak anymore (and they've been squeaking for years). Of course it helps that my clutch pedal, center console, blower fan, etc are all squeaking now too, so...

    There was another thread just this past week (maybe it was you?), where a guy tightened everything he possibly could on the seat...

    ...and it changed nothing.

    just got this same problem
    i'm thinking its a spring in the seat itself near the backrest

    Had this issue and gleaned the net. At any rate, what I found was that the four seat cushion bolts (12mm) were loose. I had taken this seat apart less than ten months ago and tightened and found out they loosened again. I removed, again yesterday, and re-tightened - I added Loctite blue (242) and the squeak is now gone. Don't start hacking the pins without checking these seat pan bolts first. My trunk - 1997 Tacoma.
