Greetings! I purchased my first Tacoma in July of 2011 and keep falling in love with it! As with any machine, I like to read and research all I can about the good, the bad, and the ugly. So I joined this forum! Other folks' experience is worth its weight in gold. I have a 2005 TRD Sport Access Cab and as it is the first year Toyota put that particular build on the market, I figured there would be some "first year" hiccups. I was drawn towards the Tacoma's reputation for being reliable and well built with good fit and finish. After the trouble I had with my 2003 Chevy 1/2 Ton, I figured Toyota would be a good investment. I am very open to knowledge! I wish to learn as much as I can about this truck, how to maintain/mod it, etc, etc. In fact, I learned of the Temp Gauge/Compass fix and have taken some photos of my repair to post for the community. Alot of the initail internet research I did on my truck brought me to this forum so I decided this would be the first forum I would become a member of... thanks for having me!
