    Tile ? Maybe, but it could be wall paper.
    "the upstairs part that sticks out" must be a second floor cantilever.

    End of speculation until more info is leaked.

    Sorry bought my first post being so short. I nearly flipped shit. I just had some gutter guys mount gutters to my new trim board so that weight may have done it? I was here tho and hey weren't like doing jumping jacks or anything out of the ordinary on my roof.I was also working up there this summer and it hadn't appeared yet then.

    Hard to tell from the pic , but it seems like there is no corner tape on the drywall . That would make it fairly succeptable to cracking from movement , that's why I was thinking about your utility connection .
