First time 4 Wheeling the TACO

I got this 97 Tacoma a couple of months ago. First time that I had the opportunity to really use the 4WD in it. The lady and I went to Medicine Park, Oklahoma and went up high for the view. After the initial climb was underway, my only real concern was cutting a sidewall. The Tacoma never hesitated.

Yes these are quite capable trucks stock and become more so with mods (lifts, trail armor & bigger tires). After taking the wife out for her first trail run she thought we should get a lift like the guy we were wheelin with. I had already wanted one but it was great when the wife gave it the green light. Then after wheelin with the lift she thought we should get some sliders & skids. Moral of this story, I need to take the wife out wheelin more often!

also congrats on the first wheeling trip, glad you enjoyed it. get ready for an expensive mod wish list. i dont know what toyota did to these 4wd systems but they are so powerful and efficient, they just keep pulling you right along.
