    I can't remember exactly when they started leaking, but I think these have 50k+ miles on them. Just a word of caution if you rebuild them yourself. Beware the table vice grip. Under estimated how much padding I needed on the shock rod and now I have to order a new one.

    lol! Very few were easy miles. The poor coilovers. They started leaking before 50k, but I can't remember exactly when that was. Gonna spend tomorrow morning soaking them in brake cleaner then nice soapy, warm water. Wonder how many times I'll have to do that to get rid of all the nasty old oil.

    hey guys, I'm hoping to get wheels/tires in a few weeks. I'm looking at 18" XD Misfit's, but saw some people don't like them due to the BS? I looked and saw I can only get a BS of 5. But what does this mean(also what is the offset)? Everyone says 4.5 BS, why?. I want the wheels to stick out like a half inch, maybe an inch farther than the stock, what do I need BS and offset wise. thanks

    EDIT: I'm also likin the Raceling Raptor

    Offset and backspacing are proportionate to each other, so only worry about one of the two. I think I have a measuring guide in my sig? Can't tell right now since I'm on the phone. 4.5 produces the best results for a 285 tire when trying to clear the control arms while also avoiding fender flares and cab mount. Note that 4" is also fine. An important aspect to observe is whether the rim will clear the caliper, not only from the top, but also the side which faces out towards you. Never shave the caliper - if you think you have to, it means you need a different rim

    Every time I have to work on my IFS I get turned against it so fast. Then I stop and think about how much it would cost to link the yota, a new rear axle, tires, coilovers, etc and all the work to SAS it...I could just do junk yard parts on my CJ5 for near the same cost and have a dedicated rock crawler with one tons and 40s. So...no SASing the yota. Just get hella pissed off and want to, but I do way to much fast stuff to get rid of the IFS.

    I like how there is lots of "up-gradable" parts for both the Wraith and this rig. There is a nice 1st gen body to put on the Wraith. :stirthepot: Gonna get one real soon... I'm interested in just building it instead of getting the RTR version.
