Driver side brake light doesn't work

bulb looks fine. cant find any blown fuses. and the bulb works when the running/headlights are on. just doesnt light up when u apply brakes. any suggestions?

 

replace the bulb

 

Or swap it out with the one on the other side. Just for testing purposes.

No sense in going crazy troubleshooting just yet.

Beyond that, get a meter or test light and check for power.

 

Bulb doesn't look blown none of the fitament (?) was broken but I did swap in a new one and it works fine. Guess I was just over complicating the situation

I'm having the same issue, did a new bulb resolve?

A little google research suggests that the bulbs may have two filiments, and only the one is burnt out - explaining why the tail light still lights up but doesn't get brighter.

Sure enough, new bulb fixed it here as well

 

this is happening on my car, guess i need a new bulb! tw for the win again
