    I agree with all the above & yeah theres alot of guys here that want to do there own, which is fine but the urge to take a "short cut" is always there, i posted this to remind all that compressed coil over struts are no joke when done incorrectly

    How was he expecting to get it back to gether without a spring compressor? It is possible to get it apart (dangerous don't do it) but without a compressor it is impossible to put a spring on a strut. You need something to give you a mechanical advantage.
