I agree^^ they did a big thing with that truck.

Granted, every year they have an "ALL NEW ENGINE" everyone is raving about. Funniest thing about their Eco boost engine was the "piston cooling jets" they claimed were so revolutionary. My 1992 Nissan has oil squirrels to keep piston temperatures down.

hrm, let's see. they never mentioned price in that analysis, did they? i would have loved an ecoboost f150, but most of those are pushing $40k or more. at least the ones i looked at.

and if price isn't a factor, then why not compare the f150 to a trd supercharged tacoma? oh that's right, this wasn't a comparison.

gas mileage? tacoma was tops. they seemed to minimize the importance of this fact. in this economy, that's amazing to me. most people i know are on somewhat of a budget. if gas was $2 a gallon, sure who cares....but reality is, when gas hits $5 a gallon again, all those ford (and other full size truck owners) are going to be feeling it worse than us taco owners.

i chose the tacoma over all others because it accomplishes exactly what i need for the right price. i don't need to haul the kind of loads that those others did. i didn't want a full size truck along with its crappy gas mileage. i didn't want to pay $40K for a truck.

i can't believe these MT idiots said the tacoma failed at being a truck. that's just garbage. lost a lot of respect for these folks. they really don't seem to know what they are talking about.

Yeah. Tacoma gets the best mileage, but somehow ford gets rep for it's milage? Maybe unloaded cruising at 55.
Put a real load in the bed and lets see the numbers.

    Retards...

The Tacoma should not be compared to a 1/2 ton truck.
