sport bike?

i plan on heading down to daytona for bike week in march. can you fit two sport bikes in the bed of the first gen?

anyone done it? i got a 4 wheeler and my cr125 in it. and 3 dirtbikes but i wonder if i can get two zx6r in the bed?

anyone done it?

Find a buddy with a bike and find out. I think you can fit them, but you may need to get some foam to pad in between the bikes so the fairings aren't banging together.

i can fit two race bikes in my 07 dc
its tight but it works

 

It will be tight. With you and a friend in the truck it will also be pushing the limits of the 1st gen depending on how much gear you take with you too. A trailer would make it a lot easier to load and unload as well.

 

I hauled my 1198 out to California using a U-Haul motorcycle trailer, which cost $15/day. Very easy to load & unload, too, and has the front wheel chock & tie-down rings installed. I used Canyon Dancers, of course. If I do that again, I would tie the rear wheel down as well; the rear end of the bike jumped up & moved over on one bad whoop-dee-doo on I-40. Don't know how it would work w/ 2 bikes, though.
