I don't even drive mine in salt! It rusted everywhere but the muffler casing. The oxygen sensor weld will soon be rusted through. Even the tip rusted all to hell. I should have pictures at home. Like I previously said, it's already rusting through the ceramic coating and it hasn't been exposed to salt or abuse.

Oh I am. I called the clown at JBA after I sent him an e-mail with pics of the rust. First off, he says no rust warranty whatsoever, even within the regular 1 year warranty. Second, he says it's not made out of stainless steel like autoanything.com advertised, even though right on JBA it says all exhaust systems (not headers) are 304 ss. I pointed this out and he acted like he couldn't navigate his own website to find it. I asked to speak with his supervisor and he claimed he didn't have one. He even suggested if I don't want it to rust they recommend ceramic coating it; $200+. I bought stainless specifically because rust is an issue.

Oh I forgot, needless to say, I told him to s my d when I hung up. He just said thanks.

My dumbass friend nicked my truck right at the taillight as he was pulling out of the parking spot. I don't know how it didn't crease the bed or bust the taillight out.

I will have to keep an eye on my JBA system. I have had it in since the very beginning of August....this will be its first winter in the snowy (read salt and sand/grave) Upstate New York/VT border area. I sure as hell hope it doesn't rust.

Well...not entirely sure. I blew up the sphericals in the rod ends on my camburgs and I think the extra slop that created let the coilovers slam up and down just enough to crack the arm right there. Other LCA has the exact same crack and I blew up the spherical on that side too, so the slop + all the sustained abuse probably did it.

so the shock mounts on the LCA's are cracked? Why not weld the cracks? Or are they too far gone?
