Yea, I only made it 3/4 the way up last year. But that was also after it had melted on the surface and refroze the previous night. Therefore, it was like ice trying to get up. Chains? Maybe with chains. But most of us run tires so big that chains won't fit. Maybe I'll keep my stock sized tires just for that reason!

Awesome run yesterday, thanks to all who made it. For those who haven't been up to wheelers recently, and are wondering what the conditions are like... plan for snow, you definitely need 4wd, good tires and possibly a rear locker, but I made it just fine with no lift.

Don and Greg, sorry I fell behind you guys before grabbing food. I had to stop and get my tires properly inflated at that small gas station, my compressor is garbage and they were still too low for highway travel. In hindsight I should have given you guys my number while we were airing up.

I think these must have been the TTORA guys we ran into coming from the Pahrump side (additional info on the trail conditions) Let's go run it again sometime after I get the lift on!

cool pics. i had a little run with some buddies in the snow too. snow was no problem just deflated tires n was all good, even plowing through snow banks 1-1.5ft high was no prob. it had dumped about 6in over nite, nice fresh powder, tires just sunk right down.

Pretty sure I'll hold off on the eyelashes/reindeer nose and antler mod.

Poor taco... it's cruel, like putting your dog in an elf costume or something.
