Removed my swaybar...what was I thinking waiting this long???? Night and day difference on the dirt. Bodyroll is significantly increased though. I'm worried when I have a bed load of shit that this will likely prompt me to put the bar back on. Any info out there on quick disconnect system for the sway bar on tacomas?

Tonight I took out the gaskets on both ends of the cat, and they are kinda toasty, burnt, and looks like they weren't put in square the first time. I repositioned them and the ticking noise went away a little. It's still there but not as bad, so I'm convinced the gaskets are the culprit. Some new gaskets "should" do the trick to get rid of this annoying ticking.

The crack runs right below the shock mounts.

I could weld it, but I would never trust it. Besides putting new LCA's in gives me an opportunity to replace the control arm bushings which will hopefully shut up whatever creaking I have coming from the suspension.

Putting in control arms from a '97 4runner. Identical in the all the important aspects. I did notice that there is a steering stop (can't think of the technical term) built into the 4runner LCA so hopefully that will eliminate the frame rub I have going on with my tires. The 4runner LCA also has weld going completely around the shock mount.

I say leave the wheel spacers on.

I have 3.5'' BS wheels with 33X12.5 and love how much they stick out.

    ^^LMAO

I dunno... if you did keep them, you might as well tub the firewall because I don't think the usual sledge hammer mod to the pinch weld will do the trick.

woah...I had a major brain fart.

Your right...take off them spacers. When you said your rims has 2.5'' BS I took that literally...:eek:

    haha...

w/ 4'' BS you will have plenty of tire sticking out...will look good.

It took my brain being up at 4:15am to realize that...wish I could sleep...:rain:
