Hey TW, I got my 05 Taco a few years ago but this just happened to me today for the first time. Have you ever noticed that the small cup holder designed for the Toyota ash tray is the exact same size as a tin? And if you drop a tin into it so it lays flat on the bottom it will never come out until you pull the cup holder and just dump it out. This in the design flaw in the Tacoma that pisses me off the most.:frusty:

This has happened to me a few times. Part of the reason a keep a small pocket knife in the center console to flip the tin on its side and pull it out.

The truck is trying to hold an intervention for you. Seriously, gross habit.

It's a good place for my phone!! I built a little plug and put some carpet on that and it works well for me!
