thats what im beginning to think. i got the shock bolted up. but theres no way in hell its right. had to take the axel out of the front diff to get the arm to droop down low enough just to get the shock in. then i tried to jack up the lower arm and it just lifted my whole truck up.
i already talked to camburg before i bought the 8 inch shocks, they said it takes a standard 8 inch shock, i specifically said i have their old school ball joint long travel kit........

Im sure you can sell them quick. Or even trade. Those run $120 new each. I bet you can find some used ones on DR or someone on here for a good deal. New springs are $100each king springs and Eibach.

Like i said you can make them work but you have to compress them in there , which is not too easy. Yeah someones always looking for springs, I just sold some King springs this morning.

What springs did the 6" coilovers have?

Can't get them compressed for shit.. And my ride height would be way too high with those I would think? There's no way I can get my upper arm and spindle together

the pics of you measuring... did you measure ext and col lengths from the center of the lower heim pivot in the rod end to the top center heim pivot on the shock that the coil bucket seat bolts to? i'm not saying you didn't but there are no pics of that... the pics of you measuring are measurments that dont matter...

i think anthony was on to something with the wrong coil bucket mount being used

i know you are in a hurry but i'll have my 16" springs for sale soon...

He does have longer springs but your forgetting he also has a flat lower spring mount. which I bet is about a 1.5" difference. I still think the problem is the upper mount. I would PM onepremiere so he can look at your pics. That is Jeff at Camburg

The fuck is going on here! Those shocks are 8s for sure and I run a 18" coil with no problems so maybe he has a different issue. I say replace the coil hat and be done with it.
