First I dont have service manual so if someone can direct me to the fuse that controls the wipers that would be great. They just quit working. The windshield washer fluid will spray but all three stages of wiper control wont work. Here is the part that really pisses me off. They will work one time sometimes. Right now they are stuck in the upright position. Im leaving on the 22nd to head home for christmas leave and its pouring rain here in southern LA. If you got any ideas please shoot them my way I will try them all when the rain stops.

    Thanks

I wouldn't think its the fuse if they work every once in a while. Maybe short in wire or bad switch?

There's the print for the wiper and washer circuit. X2 on what Dave said. If the wipers work "when they feel like it", it's either the switch or the motor.

thanks for the link....I will look into the switch when its not pouring. I cant believe a 05 wiper motor with no snow in its life would already be fried.

Being "intermittent", my money is on the switch.

There is a relay for the wipers. Swap it out.

You can also take a meter to the wires and verify if it is the relay, motor, or switch causing the problem.

The relay is integrated in the switch

That's what I get for only glancing at the diagram...
