I figured out a way for it to work. The motor would mount to the recessed part above your amp.

Awesome mod. This was one of the things that I always wondered why Toyota didn't put it in the Tacoma.

PM sent on getting one for a 2011 double cab.

If all goes well this transfer season this summer I should be in Seattle with an 06 access cab. The only bad thing is I plan on selling it and getting a double cab, I'll be you guinea pig when I get there if you don't have it figured out by juneish time.

My in-laws got me BenWA's kit for Christmas and my wife and I installed it today. Some portions of the mod were a little tricky but all it all it is a great, all-inclusive kit that was pretty easy to install with the directions provided. The adhesive is drying overnight and I should be able to get pics up tomorrow.

If you are on the fence about purchasing the kit, I would definitely get it. Everything you need is included: cutout templates, plenty of wire, connectors, spacers, screws, the switch, everything. Ben is also great to work with. He was able to ship the kit in time for Christmas and I did have a couple quick questions and he returned my call super quick. Overall a great experience!

My only advice is make sure you have the correct tools for the job. My crappy, fake Dremel tool was taking forever to cut through the plastic so I resorted to the soldering iron and melted it then went back and shaved it down with a sharp knife. That, and cutting the dash for the switch was the most time consuming parts of the mod.

    Thanks again BenWA!!

BenWA, hurry up with the Access Cab version man. There are like 50 people waiting eagerly, and that's almost the same as the entire population of New Zealand!

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Chance that over the next few weeks I may be heading up that way to purchase my DCLB. You think you may have one on hand I can swing by and pick up? Any discount for CASH customers?
