I second that. Been patiently awaiting the outcome of this Taco getting un-stuck. My work performance has suffered.

Alright guys, I got out around 8 last night. I'll give you the full story. (No pics sorry)

I realized after running out 1/4 tank of gas I wasn't getting up the way I got down. So I started scouting around trying to find another route out and FINALLY found another way up that seemed doable. It was just as steep but alot less ruts and steps (there were alot of rocks sticking out the way I came down that are best described as steps)

So on the way back to my truck I find a place where I can back down and turn around. I get in my truck and start backing down and when I back into my turnaround spot.. I end up with both my rear wheels in a ditch. A ditch covered in thorn bushes.. So now I'm at the bottom of this hill, only one (doable) way out and my truck is in a ditch. Me and my buddy Nate spend the next two hours chopping away all the thorn bushes and digging out this ditch so hopefully I can just pop out of it (We dug in front of my tires so it was just a slight incline) This doesn't work. I end up sliding sideways into the ditch into a fallen tree that dented and scratched the driver side of my truck.

So my truck is stuck in this ditch and I feel shitty and just wanna get some food so we leave grab some food and while we're out I get on my phone and check this thread to see what all you guys have been doing and I see this pic..

It looks magical, cheap, like it could get me out of this ditch.. It's a come-along. So I go to Tractor Supply get a couple recovery straps and this come along and get back to my truck. I loop a recovery strap through my passenger side slider (Thanks Kevin!) and hook the other end to a tree and bam! I'm out this fucking ditch.

I feel great at this point, I assess the damage to my driver side from the tree, but really I don't give a shit at this point I just wanna drive my ass home and go to bed. So me and nate load up all my shit in the back, drive over to the other route out I found, and buckle in.

I realize now the only way I'm getting up this hill is if I just give it hell. So I did. Third try up the hill, I made it. I'm on top, I'm fucking happy. I always noticed there was a fire pit and empty beer bottles everywhere, but this time I found out where it all came from. A couple of rednecks with their girls were up there, and there were surprised as shit when I drove up. We stop and hop out to talk to them, Nate and I have a beer, then I drive my ass home, knowing my Tacoma is safe in the driveway.

I didn't take any pics. I was so pissed and busy trying to get my truck out of there I didn't think to.

    Oh, and 10,000 views? Really?

Were the girls hot? You could have taken pictures of them.

Congrats on getting out. NOW I can get back to work.

Next time take a friend with another 4x4. Or at least someone to catalogue your mis-adventure.
