sounds to me like the sidewalls on those dura tracs are pretty wimpy for what that tire is meant for.

Hey, that is an incredible rig you got there!!! Great pics and its so amazing how it evolved...sorta like watching your kids grow up and become doctors! Anyway, tho I have a ton a questions, I was wondering what type of power inverter did you use and/or could recommend? With all the gadgets my munchkin brings now, sure could use a few more outlets. Was it a difficult install through the console? I'm looking to do some inexpensive and relatively easy mods this coming week. This might be over my head, but nonetheless, I'm still curious.

Hey thanks for the kind words!

I ended up ripping out the aftermarket inverter and did the stock inverter mod for the outlets I had already installed in the dash.

You can get inverters online pretty inexpensively. Try Amazon or just search on google.

I would say get one bigger than you actually need. I've heard of people using 2000 watt inverters to run just about anything.
The one I had was 400 watts, and that's the same as the stock trd inverter. It's enough to power a laptop or cell phone charger, but not a hair dryer or power tools.

I'll see if I can find more useful info later, right now I'm on my phone.

yea I remember when you used your grinder on the side of the trail at RC. But yet when I wanted to heat up the rear window with a hair dryer, it kept tripping.. :notsure:
