Anyone play with them? Me and my dad do...

I've got a Honey Bee CP2 and Honey Bee King 2 ( complete CNC upgrade and lipo/brushless What a pain that was...) My dad has a Honey Bee King 3.

They have both been out of commission for a while. Mine (King 2) due to a super crash. :( At least it looked cool... And my dad's because of back ordered parts.

    What do yall have?

I've seen videos. Those things look very cool & very expensive!

    Are they difficult to operate?

Thats a big heli... if its R/C. lol

There are many different types of helis. You can pick from various skill levels. I don't think it's that hard to operate, but look at me, I'm the one that crashed.... :p

LOL My cat has a fit when I play with it. He is so scared.

Are we allowed to advertise other sites on here? I know a great website to buy from, but I don't know if I can put it down.

I have an eFlight mCX. It is a super small battery powered dude. Fun as hell to fly, but I think I am ready to upgrade to a collective pitch. I'm trying to sell mine, its in the FS section.

I also have an E-Flite Blade mCX. It is amazing how well they fly once you get them trimmed properly. They are surprisingly tough too. I have only broke one blade and I have had some fairly nasty crashes. Cost me like $1.50 for a new blade.

Yep, that is the one. It is pretty tough. I replaced the main rotors with some glow in the dark ones and replaced the canopy and the tail with white. Looks pretty slick, IMO. It is good fun in the house, but I am afraid my rott will get it one of these days.

My husband flies R/C heli's -although he hasn't flown in a while. He's got several gas (Rapter) heli's. He's very good...and has been known to fly upside down and try to cut the grass with the blades.

I think he's gonna get into electrics sometime and sell some of his gassers. :)

I like the electric more because of indoor flight. I don't think my mom would appreciate a gas burner in the house

HaHa! Yes I live at home with mom and dad. I know, I'm a BadA**

You're only 19 - nothing wrong with living at home.

If you were 35 still living at home, you're parents are probably ready to kick ur ass out!!

I have a JR Voyager E and a Raptor 60. I used to have a JR Venture 30, but I sold that to get the Raptor.

I've got the newer version of the Blade mcx. I think it is called the S300. Pretty much all the same parts as the MCX, just a different shell. The first night I was flying it, I snapped the flybar.

I just ordered a few extra batteries for it. $2 beats the snot out of the $12 I was paying locally http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8864 This is a reputable company. They ship from Hong Kong and it does take a while for the product to come in.

what did you buy him? If it was the mcx, most of the parts are pretty cheap.
