Actually, since 2009, ALL Tacomas (Sport, Off Road, SR-5, Base) have limited slip (electronic using the brakes) called 'TRAC' and 'AUTO LSD'.

So, the Sport has nothing in traction over any other Tacoma... it is all about looks... if you need it to look like a sports car more than a truck.

The Off Road is a traction package for truck owners who want the truck to get into and out of as much tough terrain as possible. Of course a 4WD will give you double the traction... and the Off Road 4WD has the famous A-TRAC device that doubles the traction of the 4WD putting power to the wheels with traction instead of to the wheels with none!

If you don't want a truck with more traction and you like the decorative scoop on the hood (it serves no function for the engine), then the Sport is your baby!

C'mon dude. Saying shit like "if you need it to look like a sports car more than a truck" is what makes people think your a dick. First, its a shit thing to say. Second, Its not true in any way. Tell me the commonalities between a TRD SPort, and a Corvette? NOT ONE FUCKING THING. IN MY honest oppinion, the Off Road has shit springs. MY oppinion, is that if you want a truck that is more like a car, then get the off road. The progressive springs they put on them are junk.
