as a note, i read earlier in the tread that leer front windows do not line up with the rear slider on tacomas... mine does, and i was told by my dealer that all leer sliders are now single pane, not double pane windows. just an fyi

Just ordered a Leer 100XR with vented windoors on both sides. Woot! The guy said it should be there in 2 or 3 weeks. The only crappy part is the only dealer that would work with my on vented windoors and a frameless rear window is 300 miles away. O well, be a nice weekend getaway. I'll post pictures when I get it on.

Might have to make a trip back to my dealer. Mine does not line up and is really annoying. Thanks for the info.

Scratch that, my dealer told me, that Leer told him no way on the vented windoors in a short bed. But they are also a Snugtop dealer. And after a few calls to snugtop, they will do vented windoors for the shortbed. I'm ending up with the Snugtop Rebel, with vented windoors. Woot!!!!

The ARE CX series in my sig pic was like $1850 all told, including the matching paint color. It has the cab side sliding window that also opens out for cleaning, and the side windows also slide w/screen and open out. That total includes the Yakima rails on top too, not the bike trays though.

Kind of a ballbuster to pay that much, but it's really sweet. Has a dome light and has made my truck super versatile for travel purposes. Love it.

I have a LEER 100 with crank partial opening windows. I got the BedRug and am happy with it. I have organized my bed for my needs and plan to try to get a friend to build some drawers for further organization. The caps/canopies look great - great ideas!!!

    :)

I'm looking at either a Leer or ARE topper with the roof racks. For carrying a canoe, would it be best to also get a roof rack set-up for my cab or would the topper rack be sufficient? I have a DCLB.

You can get the Leer 100XQ with the Adventure Package and it will come with everything you need for a canoe set-up.

turns out this is the OTHER time I was wrong, now that I see your description specifies DCSB.

DAMN, they sure are proud of those shells aren't they?

yes they are, but there is not really much competition on pricing so they can pretty much charge whatever they want
