After noticing a smell in my truck for a while, today I went to go check my cabin air filter for the first time and when I looked in to the compartment nothing was there :confused:? so being pissed off at the dealership:mad: I went on to Amazon.com and ordered one and it will be here in two days thanks to amazon prime.

I didn't have one either. Toyota forgot to put them in :p Actually I think it was the dealers job to put cabin air filters in, most forgot. I got mine at Napa $10 or something.

does it have the spot for it, you just have to buy the filter to put in it?

Well, at least you get more airflow this way...

Did you figure out where the smell is coming from?

If the filter isn't there, then the smell would be somewhere deeper in the HVAC system. Good luck getting rid of it...

I order 3 from Rock Auto. I think they were like $4.48 each, also added 3 Engine Air filters to make the shipping worth while. AutoZone wanted $29 god damned dollars for one. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. Went home and in 5 minutes had them ordered.

Yeah well I ordered one from Amazon and got free two day shipping but actually it will be here tonight. Since i live close to a warehouse. But I only spent 8$ on it so I'm not so upset about the whole deal. And I saw somewhere on here that spraying some lysol in the ac vents will help kill mold and unwanted Shit in the vents.
