Anyone into R/C?

If you want and have a deans connector left over you can just solder it onto the tamiya connector so it still works. i had the same problem and thats what i did.

Edit: Youre going to need a spare tamiya connector as well. Its just to basically go from your battery to the ez start then remove it when you need to charge it.

Why not swap the Tamiya plug out with a Deans (on the easy start) and be done with crappy Tamiya plugs.

kits do not come with controllers or a motor and ESC

Kits require you to provide your own stuff

I would think the motor would be included at least

 

that is correct, generally with kits they come with a few option parts that the RTR don't come with

Also I would look at the Axial Wraith kit or the Axial SCX10 Honcho

 

No, a "kit" usually don't have electronics, radio, speed control, batteries, charger, or motors. And assembly is required. A RTR (ready to run) package, typically has everything you need to get going.

So now i'm going to ask, what's a good ready to run kit? buggy or prerunner truck that won't break the bank

 

HPI's Mini Trophy is a good choice, the HPI Blitz, Losi's XXX-SCB, Losi's TEN-SCTE (This comes with a nice radio for the price)

Got the Holmes 45t cawler, tekin pro esc and a better servo by hobbico.( never heard of them guy told me they are good)

Doesn't go as fast but my wraith crawls soooo much better
