I have a 2011 Tacoma SR5, to the left of the steering wheel, I have three spots for switches/switch blanks. Starting from the Left to Right they go Fog Lights, Blank, Blank.
I pulled the center blank out and than pulled the right one out. The right one has a harness plug dead ended into it. So my questions are
    1. Does anyone have a switch there and what is it for?
    2. Will the harness end be ok left open or should I put a blank cover over it before I put it back into the dash board

My plan is to move my OEM fog light switch to the center of the lower switches and put all aircraft toggles across the top row. For my off road fogs and rear lights. I will add some pics once I have completed the move and install.

Thanks for the help and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year

My plan is to move the OEM fog light switch to the bottom center where the "FLAME" switch is now but you can see what I am thinking. I am just not sure that the harness is long enought

The smoke and flame thrower I can get, but where did you find an ejection seat for the Tacoma? and did you have to install a sun roof?

(actually I've been thinking about refitting all my switches with those covered aircraft type switches. Do they make any that light up, so you can see see the writing or symbols in the dark? I think that would be sweet!)

Why not just make the fog lights work as a toggle switch?

i don’t think it will work man. i tried to move my rear diff lock button down. and their seams to be a pice of plastic that goes front to back. right wear the 2 pieces of dif plastic meet. i took the coin try out and tried to stick my hand up to wear the fog light switch is and could not.

Thanks all. Anyone who was to copy my idea please feel free. I was thinking about making one of the toggles a fog switch but the oem switch has 6 or so wires in the back. As did lighted ones I have seen a few of them on eBay

Check ebay or JEGS automotive, they have lite ones. You can get just about any color you would want, good luck and post pic when you get them in

Sorry to resurrect this thread. But what did you use to get the aircraft switches to match up so well with the stock holes. I am in the process of adding the switch now. Thanks

The holes were not stock holes. I purchased a few switch blanks and drilled the hole in them myself. Just make sure it is centered up and down and left and right.

Is there stickers that you can put on the switches that don't have anything on them? Is there a company that does them for Toyota switches?

Lol no. Just stickers that you can put on them. The last car I had there was a place that made them for that type of manufacture switch.
