Only way I could get the stock ones off would be if I could lift the cab or had a torch or plasma cutter to get the rivets out. Only thing I lost by not using it was the front of the spring would have sat about an inch lower than stock

It will be impossible, but just the fact that I don't have replacements if they do break. For me, either make a quick buck now and hope they don't break or hang on to them and if they do break then I wont have to buy new ones...then again if they did break, I'm sure hangars would be the least of my worries.

Sweet, but damn no 05+...not sure if I'd pay $1300 for a set of spindles when I can get spares for gusseted for around $200-250

but.......... The FCC never actually fines people. My dad work with them on a daily basis and said that's the last thing they worry about. Also the FCC is known to be full of a bunch lazy SOBs. Its the hardcore HAM guys that get more pissed.

honesty everyone in occotillo does it including alot of the race trucks because its flat out ridiculous to pay 500 for a set up from PCI... The only time ive scene them actually trying to find people is during the huge black out we had in SD a few months back, so lots of people where on there race radio's and if u didnt call out your radio's number or whatever u call it, they woould come over to where u used it. But that doesnt matter cuz most people have the set up in thetruck and so they cant track a moving vehicle haha

There about 60 bucks each and its kinda a pita to get them lined up perfectly but with a vise or a press it isnt too difficult.

yeah just called mckenzies and they are 50 bucks, is there a cheaper place to get them?
so is it better to take them to a shop and have them do it? lol
edit: also what about the misalignment spacers? those need to be replaced as well, are they the spacers with the uniball?

no you can reuse your old alignment spacers. and your best bet is ordering them online. go to ruffstuffspecialties.com and see if they still carry them. way cheaper there than anywhere else i have found. and no. you can get them out yourself with about 15 minutes of free time, a few beers, and a mallet. learn how to do it now. im a firm believer that if you cant even do the most basic shit to your own truck, you shouldnt own it.

WIN. I built a uniball tool :D It's a piece of black 1.75" ID Pipe with a chunk of 1/2" welded to the back with a handle I beat the piss out of it to seat the most stubborn uniballs
