Don't think so ... and I was not dissing the price, just answering the question about how much they sold for in the early 80's by relating what I paid for mine back then.

If I were local I'd have bought it already. Your price is a great deal IMHO. Showed this to a guy at work last night who is still driving the 1987 Toyota pick-up he bought new (187k on it now) ... he actually said he'd make the trip from Alaska to Cali to buy it and asked me to forward him the link. He's probably mulling it over right now.

So, my friend can't convince his wife it's worth the trip.

But we're sure you'll find a buyer. You just gotta find the right person. There's bound to be more folks in our age range who would have a sentimental attraction to that truck. Have you advertised on Craigslist? I'd suggest that and post it regionally throughout the NW. There's a huge following for these Toyotas.

    Good Luck!:)

Thanks man! I'm helping my dad sell it. He's not too much in a hurry to sell. He's just looking for something with some power behind it

My first truck was a 1980 2WD SR5 5-speed. Sometimes I still miss that truck.

If you want to sell this sonner, I would possibly try these guys: http://bringatrailer.com/ I have never dealt with them but they have plenty of listings of Rare and Unusual cars from all over and if you do a quick toyota truck search, it will come up with a good number of older toyota trucks that are in very good condition. Just my $0.02
