I would suggest making the Bosses take away more lives than just one (e.g. 5 total for each boss). That way you can't build a defense that just ignores the bosses.

I just had the Armored boss lock up with the same problem (speed undefined) on the newer 1.0.4. (IE7). no problems other than that so far.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I had the same issue. You have to upgrade the guns.

    hmm.... thats an interesting idea.

i was also thinking about making another tuning pass.

one of the reasons you want to kill the bosses is that they give way more gold for killing them than regular enemies. if i made it more difficult to upgrade the towers, you would really want this extra gold.

Less guns = more upgrades. You can win the game with four or five turrets that are maxed out on upgrades. Use the sniper guns (purple) and spread a few out. Locate them on corners of congestion.

x2, and place them so when they're upgraded, the enemy guys will be within range for a long period of time, or have to cross the path of fire multiple times. Also, pay attention to how you program the tower (weakest, strongest, closest, furthest). It makes a difference, especially with the fast and armored guys.

Great Game! I have been playing it a bunch this week (at least until IT decides to block it).

The freeze time duration is not adjusting with the game speed. You still get the same duration no matter what the speed.

Another suggestion: Have larger waves, or have another mode where the next wave is unleashed after x time instead of waiting for the current one to finish. Also, more waves!

One last thing, I love the speed increase, but can it be set so you can crank it up before all enemies spawn? Some rounds I'd rather just blast through faster.

All in all, highly addictive and great game, serious!

You should see a doctor if yours look like anything in the game, cause they don't.

hmm.... maybe thats the way to do it. allow the user to select 50 or 100 waves. that way, i can really ramp up the health on the enemies post L50.

preventing the speed increase during the spawning allowed me to solve a problem with the flash SetInterval event. once the event is fired, i cant change its duration (speed increase).

    thanks for the complement :)

ok, i fixed the speed bug with slowed and frozen enemies.

thanks to an idea from Kyouto42, i added a total of 300 waves that are selectable in increments of 50. once you get past wave 50, the game starts to get much harder. and by the time you get to wave 200, the game is very hard. you will definately need to make lots of sap and cripple towers and upgrade all towers to L5.

by the time you get to wave 200, the enemies have over 17000 health.
and at wave 250, the enemies have over 27000 health.

i also increased the cost and effect of all towers at L5 by 150%. (if the game is too hard, i can increase this further.)

this should give lots more replayability and difficulty choices.
