Is this legal?

I have two blue LED light strips under my seat on the bar that you move the seat back to front with. However I wired them to my sub so whenever my subwoofer hits the lights pulse with it. I would like to know if its legal, I dont think the lights are clearly visable they just light up the floor and dash a bit. Please truth only I dont want to get in trouble for this.

I can't possibly see how a police officer would see the lights. Unless they are distracting other drivers. Should be fine.

As long as you can't see them from the outside you should be fine. The little windshield sprayer things that people put the red and blue light on really annoy cops. Also anything else that lights up blue or red on the exterior of the vehicle. Now the loud noise violation that's a different storey. :0

 

When in doubt go to your local State Police Barrack and ask an officer.

 

You should be fine. I ran some blue lights like that in my old truck and never had one bit of a problem. Just make sure you can't see the light itself from the outside of the cab (which it sounds like you can't) and you'll be fine.

That's illegal in SC anything blue or red flashing is illegal but only if it can be seen outside the car. If they can't see it, which by your description they can't, then they can't possibly know you have it. Don't worry you're fine.
