First off i had installed 5100(front) and sky jackets(rear) was impressed with the 5100. decided to put some toytec Eibach's...which i am now very impressed with the ride quality!

my measurements where something like 23.5 in the front and 21.5 in the rear ( non TBS) so i might put an AAL..this is the current stance

I also wanted to get rid of my chrome door handles..they are the ones that an taped on so i took them off and used the mutlicolor spray paint that i got off Amazon...rough up the chrome with sand paper 80 grid, then cleaned them real good and sprayed 3 light coats and 3 coats if clear coat...That acctually came out really well

Thinking about doing my mirrors now

Next i got some DDM HIDs hi/lo and fogs 35watt 5000K...these HID came from china...and DDM customer service SUCKSS... they never answer the phone and when i finally did get a hold of someone..the dude was a smart ass...i would also not recommend them b/c my fogs will work fine when i first start my truck and then one of them (usually the right side fog) will cut off..I can get it to come back on if i switch them on/off but it only last for a minute if that and cuts off again.

If i had to do it again i would go with 4300k and some other brand

here is where i mounted my ballast on the drivers side

i would suggest in getting rid of your wood mounting plate..the ballast gets hot and can get very hot,..would suck if your wood mounting plate catches on fire!! 10mv8ft_6f24d5b688f39ca602f2509d37a0af4ff1e0ea32.gif

well that might possibally be my problem with my fogs...i've got the ballasts in ziplock bags and tie wrapped to the inside of my bumper.( to keep them from water) what would you say?

I would think you will be smelling burning plastic and burning wood on long trips at night. Like that other dude said, those ballasts get pretty hot. I just have mine zip-tied. I don't think you have to worry about too much water getting to them. Other then that your truck looks really good man.

OMFG!!! Does your insurance policy cover fire damages?? I sure do hope so! The wood is bad enough, but the plastic bags is pure insanity.
