Haven't driven my truck in like a month. Attempted to drive it yesterday but heard an odd ticking sound from what sounded like the supercharger. After closer inspection it looks like I picked up a rock or something on the main belt (supercharger, alternator, and waterpump). Could have been a bad day.

Bummer, I might have the same problem, I got a squeaking coming from my belt that presented itself the other day. Good that you caught it when you did!

Wow good catch Jason I've been making a habit of listening to the truck a lot more carefully.

    Word.
After looking at the pictures Eric has been posting of his truck with bent to shit buckets, missing bolts, cracks, etc, I decided I should be paying more attention to the little things on the truck instead of just a once over.

Nobody local stocked the belt either cause it's an oddball size. So I bought two belts this time around to keep a spare in the box-o-shit in the bed.

    And for my next trick.....
I banana'd my bellypan on the last trip to Holister. I started with a 5 lb sledge and couldn't bend the metal back at all. So i went old school on it.

    95d0af67_e776a3c4cf57594988c6de051f5c0c56346ee2fd.jpg

It worked somewhat, but not enough. My neighbor ended up driving his F250 onto it and it's mostly back in place. I'm off to the metal store to pick up some angle iron to gusset the thing so it doesn't banana again. :bananadead:

It was somewhere between these two pictures. I actually have giant rubber marks on my skid plate :anonymous:

Added some angle iron to stiffen up the area that bent on the belly pan. Ran out of light so I'll decide later if I want to add any more material.

On another note, I by no means consider myself a welder, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. :anonymous:
