I've got one I picked up on sale at Fry's for 89 bucks. A lot of people whine about them but I think it's a great little box for the price. Does a decent job of streaming my local media, I use it in my kitchen/dining room.

LOL! I love the optimistic "what do you think, from my boss" of the first post to the one above - "POS won't connect!"

I feel your pain though - had my share of tech headaches.

I've heard they are indeed a POS but I think that might've been for the original prices of these Google devices, etc. If you are geeky enough, I think they can be rooted which may open up the feature set.

But then again, you'd at least have to get it to connect!

    Good luck.

Man, I have no idea what you need to get it to connect. If you have a router and WiFi, you should just have to enter the passkey or whatever, and connect.

I have a lynksys media extender and I love it. I can watch the 1000's of movies I have on my PC in my living room on my tv.

As for your box I am not sure, but I like the looks of the keyboard. You will likely have to unblock the ports for it to connect to your pc and/or internet.
