So Tsb AAL from toytec and 3in ezlift?
I am leaning toward the Ezlift vs the toytec spacers b/c the springs won't be preloaded. The EZlift bolts onto the assembly. Will this allow me to keep and pretty stock feeling ride? UCA's needed?...this is not going to be off roaded on a regular basis...just camping/huntung trips and trips up in the snow

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    no

no UCA's needed, but it wont align to stock numbers w/o them.

    I want to chime in

I thought that by adding the AAL that it would stiffin the rear ride up. I was going to that but after talking to others and Hank @ EZ-Lift I was told that it would change the factory ride to a stiffer ride. Just adding what I was told, cannot speak from actual use but I do like my EZ-Lift system it was no problem installing I do recomend to get a 3/4" or 1/2" cheater bar about 4' long to use when pushing down on the bottom strut mount when replacing the unit, this made it alot easier.. I believe the rear was a 2" spacer and the front what they call 3" its all made of good quality material and everything thats needed is with it, I did not have to extend anything at all. As for the alignment it was needed after the installation, but my shop aligned it with no problem. The handling is the same, the tracking is the same and no vibration at any speeds.

i have a 3" spacer up front and a 2" AAL and its perfect. i know a guy who ha 1.5" block in the rear and hes stupid. he throws a couple bikes in the back and the stock leafspring set up sags like no other. definitely gotta go with an AAL in the back if you plan on actually using your tuck no just showing it off.

I have a 1 1/2" spacer up front (for a 3" lift) and blocks in the back.

It does just fine wheeling, no problems there. I've definitely taken the truck way, WAY off road...

I am DEFINITELY going to do the AAL, however, because my truck looks like it's going to pop a damn wheelie when loaded. I filled it with boards and it was RIDICULOUS. It looks like you can floor it and it will stand up on its tailgate, LOL.

Even though I have the blocks, I'm recommending that you DON'T use them unless you're never going to put weight in the back of the truck... and I say "never say never"!

IMHO, spacers up front and the AAL in the back would be easiest. If I had the cash lying around I would do some CO's and new UCA's, and some Billy Shocks, but hey times are tight and I just want to climb in my taco and have a great time!

Good luck, and have fun with yer ride!

I did the revtech leveling kit and it does everything I ask it to and goes everywhere I ask it to go. I cheated and had the tire shop do it when they put on my rims and tires. It seemed pretty easy but i didnt exactly have the room to do it at my house.

AAL is an add-a-leaf... just another leaf in the leaf spring set up to stiff it up ad bit and give you some lift
