I was in PRESSKIT for a couple months in 2007. Nice town. I think I still technically have a membership at the library there.

Enjoyed hiking and climbing at Thumb Butte, Granite Mtn, and Groom Creek though.

LOL ! Well, For the record, Im a huge LEO supporter. That being said, years ago my friends and I were known to get into trouble now and then. WElp....ASide from fantastic scenery, and off roading, Prescott also has.........WHISKEY ROW! We decided to go up there and do some drinking. Halfway into the night, we were all pretty fucked up, and, IIRC, got into an altercation with some other dudes. next thing I know, we're out side, on the street, and cops all around. Our friend Steve had to piss, so while the cops are yelling at the group, he drops trow, and pisses on the wall. Some other shit happend, and the next thing I remember, a group of the Prescot PD was escorting us out of town, and telling us to never come back. Now....I was pretty shit faced, and dont remember all the details. Hopefully Dwight pops in and adds his part.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Yikes, that was a long time ago Chris. Prescott was much more of a rural country town then and drinking and drunkenness were a big part of the economy there... after all they do name the main street in town "Whiskey Row".

Now, today most of those bars are restaurants and there are 5+ golf courses in town and only 1 is a public course). Today they'd have thrown our asses in jail for sure. End of story.

    But there was a story...

We all lived together as roomies in Phoenix at the time and drove up to Prescott one weekend in my old Datsun B210. There were 4 of us... Mike, Steve, you, and me.

We worked our way down Whiskey Row and had some good laughs, listened to some live music, and drank a ton. We got into a verbal altercation outside the Bird Cage saloon with some other drunk ass guys and the cops showed up. Probably would have been alright if Steve hadn't decided to piss on the wall outside of the bar while the cops were talking to us. They asked us to either leave town and not return or else. We left town and drove around up in the woods around Groom Creek. I think I probably came damn close to hitting a tree or two and killing us all... driving down fire-service roads in the dark with marginal braking capacity.

Anyway, I forget where we ended up staying the night? Perhaps we even drove all the way back to Phoneix? Probably that was it, because I certainly would have remembered if we'd slept in the car or stayed at my parents place.

Good times. Too young and dumb to know how irresponsible and reckless we were being.

Love summer nights up in the cool pines of Northern AZ.
