    1-2min phone call...1 day...7 days...let me go get you guys some tissues :p care to discuss NY's fucking gun laws... :mad: I'm transplated from Michigan and I really feel like im in a communist occupied country. WTF is wrong with NY state!?!?!

    Have to agree with DWreck on this, although I greatly look forward to it IF and WHEN it actually passes. My CC is not reconized in NY, I cant even buy a fucking handgun until I go through the RIDICULOUS process (6-12+months :eek:) and even then, I have only heard of a couple people receive "No restrictions". 99.8% of issues are "Hunting and Target" :mad: (Chemung county)

    Thats crazy they are charging for a background check! the NCIS check is always free in TX. I have my CHL though so all I do is fill out the forms, show my cards and leave with whatever I want.
    I have a dealer that only charges 10 bucks for an FFL transfer too. Everyone else in town wanted 25-40! :O

    I recently found out that savage has discontinued there model 10FLP. So I picked up another one in .308 brand new with a matching set of Ken Farrell Rings and Base. Base is 0 MOA and the rings are 30MM. Hopefully this time next year it will look like its sibling.

    Also while browsing the model that replaced the 10FLP I noticed that they have oversized tactical bolt handles. So I contacted Savage and confirmed that they will fit my model. So I picked up a couple to put on mine.

    i'm headed to franklin wv. my parents have a place there and several aunts, uncles, and cousins live around there. up in the mountains, one main road in and out (but those that live there know several ways to get in and out :wink:) easy to defend, lots of natural resources, and many places are self-sufficient or easy to make-so.
    if the apocalypse happens and you head up there, fly a flag with the magpul symbol and i'll make sure not to snipe you :thumbsup:
