    I will never spend another cent on a Government Motors (GM) vehicle. I'm pretty sure Chrysler paid back their BS bailout money (I could be wrong) but Government Motors has not. Ford never took any money and they would be the only other company that will see my money beside Toyota. That whole bailout thing...what a scam with our money. So sik of what the dam gubment has become!:mad:

    Thats no kiddin.

    Co-workers Silverado with the 5.3? only has 30-40k miles on it and started drinking about 2 quarts of oil between changes. He took it in and there was cooling lines going bad and the oil pan was leaking. All Chevy could say was, oh this is a common thing with these engines.

    that. My Chevy work van has the same trans as the silverado and is currently down due to the trans which will be the 3rd one it has had and my buddy who owns a sliverrado has had two replaced under warranty.. alot of problems with those 4l60E and the 4l80E.. Good luck at least the Chevy DealerShip got a good truck

    I just dumped a Tahoe for my Tacoma... I was so sick of stupid trips to my local dealership...

    + I can dent a GM body just by looking at it.

    I've been on this rock for 53 years, always been a Cheby truck/car guy..(Bowtie Baby:D).....NEVER again will I be a test pilot....even vehicles manufactured 14 years later had the same problems as earlier ones......and the worst ones are the first gens of ANY model....

    Toyota trucks now and my next car is a Genesis.....w/an 8.
