Because long story short they are too long....(sort of) THe lower control arm where the strut mounts to is configured a little different, so if you throw the 5100's on there the bump stops get in the way. Ive been trying fo a little while and nothing i do seems to make them fit.

    thanks

A TRD sticker will give you a 50 horsepower gain.

    Its true.

I have a non trd 4x4 also :D, but I have a V6 double cab. The performance difference in yours and a TRD OR is the V6 and a rear locker.

What are you looking to gain with any mods? You have a 4x4, there is nothing you need to add to go anywhere a TRD prerunner or TRD 4x4 can go.
If you are going to do serious hardcore offroading then you can add a locker, but you don't need it for typical offroading situations if you learn wheel placement (I just learned that this weekend ;)).
You got the TSB, so that gave you the upgraded suspension which only really makes it ride a little better.
You probably have crappy tires and ugly steel wheels, so get some all terrain tires and some better wheels.
Everything else is pretty much looks and extra interior accessories. Embrace your non trd and be proud :D

Honestly I wouldnt put stickers on it. Think about it, putting stickers on your truck of something its not. Kinda like them little ricers putting vtec stickers on cavilers and what not. But I'd give it a lift, maybe 3" throw some meatier tires on there.

If you wanna go true TRD, skip the rest and go straight for the TRD supercharger.

Interesting comment. How many agree or disagree? Does a TRD sticker on a non-TRD truck make you a poser?

Considering the only real 'performance' gain of a stock trd truck is the blisten shocks.. not really.

thanks for the suggestions guys! I'm not putting stickers on or anything i'm just trying to use creative methods to justify some mods!

Getting a locker or LSD is the only thing that will make it a TRD...other than that everything else is over rated.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone know of some performance shocks, other than Bilsteins that can provide some lift for a 5-lug??
