Great idea..Some folks don't realize the legal issues you will face when shooting someone.I believe in carrying also.I carry a full mag of HP, but I believe the first one or two shots being blanks is not a bad idea in a CC weapon..Just my opinion..

its a bad idea...because if you are not justified in using force ie using blanks then youre not justified in pulling the gun....also blanks probably wont eject so the first one would go off and youd be left holding a gun you had to clear before you could fire...

if you want some less than lethal then a taser could be a primary tool but in GA they dont have statewide preemption like guns and knives over 5 inches so youd be subject to a patchwork of local laws that could end you up in jail....

before SB08 in GA people were jailed for carrying 5 inch knives while carrying a pistol too...but now 5inch+ knives are preempted

That's exactly how I did mine except I modded the paddle and used a couple zip ties (can't see them" to hold it a little tighter. ALWAYS have one in the chamber. Since I consider any gun loaded... I keep mine that way.

I've been known to keep one under the inboard, rear corner of the driver-side floor mat.

The raised corner is only about 1/4" high and unnoticeable unless someone has their head down there... :p

That look great but I would have put the gun with the slide to the right because when you grab the gun with your left hand you wont have to flip the gun over.

to keep a gun from going off, don't squeeze the trigger. besides, that particular weapon has about a mile and a half of trigger pull, so there is no problem keeping it loaded...

I'm with you Rick, If I get to the point where I have to bring out the big iron, I want it to count. Otherwise just leave it be. If your justified in using force of that nature you might as well use deadly force.
