I can't offroad either; I thought my shock was fine, but after talking about it with Engage, I noticed it pooling in my drive way when I got back from LA on Friday. I think it's all out of oil cuz I'm feeling pretty wobbily on my driver side. Don't know how I'm gonna get those over torqued Allen bolts off, but once I do, my 5100s are going back on and my DRs are getting a rebuild. Maybe I'll take it to a shop to get the bolts replaced so I can do the shock replacement.

Im still looking for a good price, so if any of you are still calling and looking for me, do so and let me know what you find out. other than that i may just have them rebuild my rear thats on the truck already. Was just hoping for a good priced used rear with less miles than mine and worry about building the bad one later.

 

what's your price range? i will call a few places i know up in the I.E.

I heard it though- it sounds like a dying whale being melted alive. It still rolls, but gives a loud groan upon moving a foot or two in either direction. Hard to tell where exactly the noise is coming from in the rear. Once he gets it to a high speed, the noise goes away I think- least that's what I noticed- or the highway winds are just too loud to hear it after getting to such speeds.

well better anyway it confuses me why guys spend all the extra $$$ for suspension lifts & keep the sway bar makes no sense
