So far only a canopy and weathertech floor mats in the mail.
So i just installed the Alpine INA-W900BT....love the deck!! Everything works beautifully but the dash kit install. I used the factory steel brackets to attach to the dash kit and it seems as though it's about 1/4 to 1/2 inch too far into the cab direction. I was not able to use the Alpine trim ring (which would have made a cleaner look), and the kit just doesn't have a very nice fit/finish. Also the hole for the hazard light is not quite big enough and so when the button is pushed in then pushed back out, it sticks quite bad. The last concern was that with using the factory brackets and the face plate of the Metra kit it was too tight on the bottom of the Alpine unit and it restricted the opening of the DVD player in insert a disc. I had to put some shims between the HU and the brackets so the player would open and close properly.

So in closing i think maybe i'll order a Schoshe Kit online and see how it works. I was in a rush to get the kit and put it in and i should have ordered online instead of buying it from the electronics store.

    That's just my rant!

My Metra works just fine, albeit I'm not using with a double DIN unit. I did have an issue with the first one Crutchfield sent with it not fitting which was due to a defect with it from the factory with the tabs that stick out and snap into the dash. New piece fits great.

Sorry to hear this, I had the opposite experience with metra. I tried scosche and it was very poor quality with cheap, flimsy plastic brackets. Absolute junk.

i think both the metra and the schosche are shoddy at best. but again they are the only option we have sooo you chose the lesser of the two evils IMO. ive tried both and its a tiny bit better than the other so i stuck with it. but they do their job just in a less than perfect way!

in any other dash kit ive used theyve let me reuse the metal brackets holing up the head unit buuuuuuut i guess that would just make the new dash kits jealous... so yea they wont let you anymore.. (duetche bags)

I have the same head unit and tried both trim kits. Unfortunetly I think it is the HU that is just an off size by the slightest amount. I tried everything and just had to be satisfied that it was straight and level. You can try some window screen spline, comes in black or grey and many sizes, you can then make a "custom trim ring". Sorry I don't have pics but it actually works pretty good. BTW great HU.

I drilled new holes in the factory brackets to move the deck 1/4" deeper into the dash....looks much better.
