Because neither party has proof, so saying someone is wrong for what they believe and no one can prove is just being ignorant. And nothing but harm comes from fighting over religion.

How come they can teach evolution in school but not the Bible? Evolution supports Atheism and their beliefs.

Because the bible, and i might add all other religious texts do not teach any positive life lessons or values that could not be taught equally as well without religion. Also they're not appropriate for schools.
    http://commonsenseatheism.com/?p=21

Also atheism is a lack of beliefs. So no, science does not support "our" beliefs.

Evolution/Atheism both disqualify the belief in God. IMHO it's bull shit. If God cannot be taught in school evolution shouldn't be either.

Evolution doesn't even mention a god, it simply tries to understand and explain nature, like many sciences.

Might as well say Geology shouldn't be taught in school because Geologist conclude the earth is 4.5 billion years old and disqualifies the belief in a book that says the earth is 4500 years old.

My age is for me to know and for you to not find out :p

Yes I know evolution doesnt mention a "God" but what it speaks of falsifies the belief of God even if it doesnt specifically state it.

Incase you are too ignorant to understand what you are actually saying, it's basically this... "evolution is proof that the idea of a god is false, so i choose not to believe it."

Not trying to answer for docbrown, but you do realize there are Scientists out there who have far more "scientific literacy" than any of us and also believe in God. Far too many Scientists have different ideas of how the universe was created, sometimes they end up contradicting themselves...they don't know. Kind of like two different religions having different views on God. I am sure there are a few out there who even became Christian (or other) even after being raised without a religious foundation.

Although I am a non beleiver myself, I don't see any issues with someone using religious explanations. I don't understand faith, but I do understand others have it, and to them it trumphs any kind of scientific "reasoning". Personally, I think a lot of science is bs and no one has a clue about how the universe was created.
