    my requirement when buying a vehicle is that it has to fit in the garage. I'm not paying that kind of money for a vehicle for it to sit outside.

    My mortgage including escrow is less than 1g, truck is 400 bucks and thats way more than the actual payment... and my insurance is like 80 bucks...

    Apartment is one of the shittiest and cheapest in town, the insurance is a combination of truck/life/housing/ loan insurances. Food costs about 50-70% more up here because of remote location, and I drive a 80km/day commute to and from work.

    learned that a long time ago from my dad. I take the risk that in the period that they warranty it for that i'm not going to spend more than $3k for repairs.
