Yes they are reclineable and comfy as shit. Install took longer than it should of for bolt on parts. I had to cut some of the stock center console in order to keep it and use a hammer on the new seatbelt mounts on the new brackets. Did the install in about 2 hours. Picked the seats up off eGay for cheap because they were "demo" seats for some shop but they look and feel brand new. I'm very very happy with them. They are lightyears better than the stock seats

Mike or jeremy, how did you/do you go about keeping the proper pinion angle? I watched the Giant install video and there has got to be a better way than "visually" setting it up

what ! by sight? are you serious? i guess a little simple math is too much for those guys!

you use an angle gauge on the pinion, you can get them from home depot . i use a digital one to get it perfect. the pinion angle is typically 3-4 degrees lower than the front section of 2 piece driveshaft. i have found that 95% of the time the pinion angle is 5 degrees up on the 2nd gens. so to make things easier i just tell my customers to set it up to 5 degrees.

    I set mine by sight......

Bolted in the leafs with the purches on the axle, set the truck on the ground for right height, adjusted the pinion angle as needed. Set the diff and shaft dead on straight at ride height.

Not doubting what you did, but you might want to double check your angles (See what Mike said above)

    PINION ADJUSTMENT

[IMG]The pinion angle should be set at ride height with a representation of a typical load for the vehicle. Example: you may need to simulate the weight of a bed, etc. With a spring-under pack of this quality, axle-wrap should be significantly reduced, so the pinion angle should be directly inline with the transmission/transfer case output.

    Taken from this article http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/article/custom-longtravel-leaf-spring-rear-suspension/

I've always been told/read/taught that on a spring under kit ideally you want the end of the yoke pointing directly at the output...

Someone please direct me if I'm wrong and explain why

typically thats true with a 1 piece driveshaft. with a 2 piece driveshaft you want the pinion more or less parallel with the front section of the 2 piece shaft. i dont have web pages of personal writeups to quote from , they are in books ive read, classes ive taken and people in the industry i speak with. but every vehicle is a little different so realistically anywhere from 0-7 degrees could work fine. i just like to have a method to my madness in an effort to be more consistent.
