    Ya we still come across some opposition to the Pex occasionally.

    Recently, we did a projects Fire Sprinkler lines with Pex. The Pex company supplied everything and did most of the sizing but cost wise it just wasn't where it needed to be to make it worth it for us to continue doing it especially since no one had seen it before so it slowed the job down.

    depends upon the capacity, some will keep up. we have a smaller one and it keeps up quite well with the dishwasher, washing machine and two showers going. it's true regarding the temperature, but there's workarounds. my cousin is a plumber in montana and they have no problem using them there. i love our tankless and will never go back. ultimately, they are more expensive though.

    Deckplate mod, sliders, uniden cb, toolbox, dakar leaf pack, in search of coilovers, 255/85 16 bfg m/t waiting to go on
    when changing the bolts that connect the reservoir to the bowl why do the metal washers go against the ceramic surface instead of the rubber washers. didnt make sense to me but thats what the instructions said and it seemed to work. seems to me though you would want the seal around the actual surface but apparently not.

    oh, and why are toilets so effing hard to work on lol

    I install toilet bolts into the toilet flange, secure them with metal washer and nut, install wax seal, then install toilet, secure toilet by metal washer and a nut.

    I use washer and a nut to secure the bolts to toilet flange, so the bolts don't move and don't slip from toilet flange when I am installing the toilet...

    Silly, toilets are super easy ;)

    I just recently had a water hammering problem and had to have my PRV replaced. While they were at it they replaced the crappy gate valves I had by it and also the ones on my water heater lines to ball valves. Mucho nicer :D

    It can be tricky, if the toilet flange is below the floor, you have to use two wax rings with flange to prevent leaks...
